What's Covert Advertising?

Covert advertising is a product or a brand that shows in a movie or in a TV show
for instance like in a movie Men In Black 3, they use Ford Taurus as a brand new vehicle for their mision instead of Mercedes Benz.

What is a teaser?

Teaser is an advertising campaign that consists of small, cryptic and challenging advertisements, mainly known to be Teaser Ads.
In my own words, Teaser is like an upcoming, brand new product or brand or an ad that was about to launch soon.

Hard sell vs soft sell

What is hard sell in advertising?
-hard sell is where you promote your product of your brand by force for example promote through newsletter, magazines, and so on

What is soft sell?
-soft sell is a bit different than hard sell, they use mass media to promote their brands and products through tv commercials and also through the internet

Advertising Design - Adverts & Branding

the branded Oakley sunglasses are always selling everywhere all over the world but they never been doing a single adverts
unique selling point - *frame design & lenses, trending sports gear
*it increases the prescription of penetration and it makes you look sporty
Ideas - the style never lets you down



the proof that they did the advertising but they never even promote it to the locals including the new media adverts. The reason why they didn't show the advert because the people had spread the word to the public about the sporty eye wear and most of all the product is strongly focus on the sporting goods even though the brand is good but more importantly Oakley has their major competitors of sports eye gear which is Nike, Reebok and Luxottica.
